Special Procedures - D 186 (SFC - 8,500), Home of Skydive Express, Parachute Operations, normally a Cessna (C208) Caravan VH-OAI & Cessna 182 VH-DUW. Do not overfly airfield (within 5NM) below 8,500 ft unless certain parachute operations are not in progress.

If you cannot contact any parachuting aircraft DO NOT assume it is okay to transit the area, ask Melbourne Centre on the area frequency.

RAAF DHC-4 Caribou and C-130 aircraft also conduct occasional parachute operations at Brooklands.

Landing Permission - Required, subject to:

1. Valid aircraft insurance policy, including $10,000,000 third party insurance

2. Written advice to Skydive Express of aircraft type, call sign, pilot, aircraft owner, postal address, contact telephone number and insurance policy details (policy number & insurer)

3. The completion of a conditions of airfield use contract

4. Neither Skydive Express nor its servants or contractors shall be in any way liable for loss of or damage to visiting aircraft, its parts or accessories or any property contained in the aircraft

Landing Fees - Yes, although may be waived depending on liquid refreshments donated and nature of visit

Services - Friday, Saturday & Sunday - Cafe, Licensed Bar, Showers, Toilets, Swimming pool.
