An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated, enthusiastic and organised call centre operators to join our fast-paced, dynamic team. Reporting to the Reservations Manager, this position will be casual, based in Wollongong. You would be required to work weekends, with shifts being anywhere between the hours of 6am and 9pm. Our call centre manages all reservations for our locations Australia-wide as well creating new bookings, and carrying out operational tasks to assist the drop zones.
The successful applicant will be:
- Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service, either on the phone or via email communication.
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy with all reservations.
- Able to work under pressure, particularly through the busy summer period.
- Assisting in maintaining excellent relationships with third party booking agents.
- Successful at converting new enquiries, and meeting sales targets.
- Responsible for effective communication and organisation of daily manifests for all our drop zone locations across Australia.
The ideal candidate will meet the following selection criteria. Please note, to be considered for this role you MUST address the selection criteria in your application:
- Be available on weekends and public holidays.
- Have excellent phone manner, with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Have a high level of initiative and quick decision making ability.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise, with a keen eye for detail.
- Be a team player, who can work well within a demanding environment.
- Have good knowledge of general Australian geography essential.
- Good administration and IT skills (knowledge of reservations systems preferred but not essential).
- Previous call centre experience, particularly with outbound sales, will be highly regarded.
