Everyone can go skydiving with Skydive Australia even elephants...
Ellie the Emesis Elephant took to the skies over our Sydney-Wollongong drop zone at the weekend, to help raise awareness for sufferers of Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome (CVS), she is one of three plush 'CVS Warriors' travelling around the world giving hope to sufferers.
Ellie arrived in the Illawarra last week from an American sufferer Misty and will remain in the region with Wollongong woman Laura Joukador for a month, before being passed on to another sufferer in a different country.
Ellie kicked off her time in the Gong by getting a birds eye view of the amazing Wollongong coast line. Laura has never been able to jump out of a plane due to her condition, so Ellie took the honour of jumping on Laura's behalf.
The condition causes sudden, unexplained attacks of severe nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain which can last for a few hours to several days.
