Is there a weight limit for tandem skydiving?
The minimum weight is 40kg; anyone 95kg or over requires a Tandem Master assessment at the drop zone before jumping. Surcharges apply to anyone 94kg or over.
What is the minimum age to skydive?
By law, the minimum age to tandem skydive in Australia is 16 years old. Customers under 18 years must have a parent or legal guardian present at the drop zone on the day of the jump to complete and sign all required consent and check-in forms. Skydive participation is not permitted unless these forms are completed while the minor is present with their parent or guardian.
What happens if the skydive is cancelled due to weather?
If weather is unfavourable, we’ll reschedule your jump to a date that suits you, all weather calls are made on the day, not from forecasts, since light cloud or showers often don’t affect the jump.
Booked customers get a text the day before with any time changes, and same-day updates if we need to delay or cancel. If you can’t rebook because you’re leaving the state or country, you’re eligible for a refund, except gift vouchers, which are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Can family members book a joint skydive for Father’s Day?
We welcome all groups – especially the fams! The number of tandems we can take on a plane can vary depending on which location you choose and what is available, it can be anywhere from 5-9 tandems on one plane together. This can never be guaranteed as this also depends on instructor availability, however, we will do our best to get your family jumping together.
