Our COVID-Safe Plan

Our COVID-Safe Plan

Here at Skydive Australia, we have more than our fair share of fun but we take safety seriously.

We want you all to know we are taking the current health crisis very seriously and will always put your health and safety at the forefront of our operations.

In addition to our existing safety measures, we have implemented a few new protocols to help you feel at ease when you travel with us:

Government Advice

As a COVID safe business, we are continuously looking after the well being of our passengers by actively staying on top of government health advice. Stay informed and please refer to health.gov.au for all up to date information.

Pre-screening & Hot Spot Exclusions

Our reservations team will contact customers who are due to jump in some locations to discuss current restrictions and exclusions.

Contact Tracing

Prior to travelling with us, you will be required to provide a current phone number and residential address (address of accommodation if travelling) and your full name in order to complete your activity. When you travel with us, your personal data may be provided to official government bodies to help stop the spread of any health outbreaks. We encourage all staff and travellers to download the CovidSafe app to assist in this process. For more information on how we use your data, please read our Privacy Policy here.

For all NSW locations (Sydney-Wollongong, Newcastle, Byron Bay & Hunter Valley), you will need the Services NSW App for contact tracing purposes.

For all WA locations (Perth CBD, Rockingham) you will need the Safe WA for contact tracing purposes.

For all VIC locations (St Kilda, Great Ocean Road, Yarra Valley) you will need the Service VIC app for contact tracing purposes.

For all Queensland locations (Cairns, Mission Beach, Airlie Beach, Noosa Surfers Paradise) you will need the Check In QLD app for contact tracing purposes.

All drop zones must follow their state or territory Government’s requirements, utilising the Governments’ Check-in apps where required.

Unlimited Changes to your Skydive

Book with confidence with us. We understand you may need to reschedule or cancel, especially if you feel unwell. Please call us up to 24 hours from your check in time to discuss your booking or email reservations@skydive.com.au. You can put your jump on hold for 12 months and change locations if need be. Some changes may incur additional charges but our friendly team will discuss this with you. You can make unlimited changes up to 24 hours notice or transfer your skydive to someone else.

Cleaning

We have increased our cleaning protocols in all areas of our businesses and will ensure all frequently used areas are regularly cleaned and sanitized as per the local health department guidelines. Only selected locations will be offering shared clothing such as fleeces, pants, shoes or gloves. Where these are offered, they are washed and dried after each use. We encourage you to bring your own warm clothing to wear during your skydive.

Physical Distancing

Physical distancing can be difficult, especially when travelling or doing activities. To assist in the process of physical distancing, we have installed signage at all locations so you know exactly how far away you need to be from other people. Our check-in areas have been assessed for maximum capacity, adhering to social physical distancing guidelines and we will be strictly complying with these measures.

Hygiene

Sanitizer & face masks will be available at all areas of our business. We request that you use contactless payment options at all times. Some of our locations are now accepting cash payments if absolutely necessary.

Staff will wear protective clothing wherever possible (gloves, helmets, masks). If state or federal requirements for COVID PPE change, our drop zones will adhere to their local rules and restrictions. Face masks/buffs are available to team members and customers who wish to wear one on the ground or during their skydive.
