Wollongong is about to come alive with world-class action – the Wollongong Triathlon 2025 is taking over Stuart Park, North Wollongong from October 15 – 19, 2025. With thousands of athletes and spectators gathering on our doorstep, Skydive Wollongong is making a few temporary changes to keep the skies clear and the jumps unforgettable.
What’s changing?
From October 15-19, all skydivers will:
-
Check in at Shellharbour Airport instead of Stuart Park.
-
Jump from up to 15,000ft with breathtaking views over Wollongong and the northern beaches of Woonona, Thirroul and beyond!
-
Land at Collins Park, Woonona Beach – a beachfront landing spot for this special event week
Same adrenaline-pumping Skydive Wollongong experience, just with a fresh landing view!
Tips for spectators
-
If you’re dropping friends off at Shellharbour Airport for their skydive, head straight to Woonona Beach to catch their epic landing.
-
Allow plenty of travel time – with the Wollongong Triathlon in full swing, expect some traffic delays.
-
While you wait, enjoy Woonona’s local cafés, take a dip at Woonona Rock Pool, or relax in the beachfront parklands.
Why this makes your jump even more special
Not only will you experience the thrill of a 15,000ft skydive over Wollongong, but you’ll also see the Wollongong Triathlon from the sky – athletes swimming, cycling, and running below while you’re flying above. Talk about a one-of-a-kind perspective!
Sure, it’s a change of scenery for a few days, but that’s what makes it exciting. Skydive Wollongong is all about unique adventures and this is your chance to do something unforgettable.
Because while the world’s best athletes are on the ground, you’ll be flying high above them. 😉
